Teaching Personnel are looking for dedicated and qualified Maths Tutors within Reading to support in both group and 1:1 settings!
Due to an increase in the amount of school aged children being unable to attend school for a variety of reasons, here at Teaching Personnel we are dedicated to providing support for each of these students through the support of schools and local authorities.

The role
TP are looking for a Maths tutor who holds a teahing qualification in Maths to work across Primary & Secondary levels within an SEN setting.
Pay: £20 - 25 per hour
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering and planning engaging lessons to students in a group setting or 1:1
- Providing constructive feedback to the students
- Tracking the progress of each students learning and ensuring next steps are planned
- Implementing behaviour strategies to ensure engagement in lessons is high
- Be aware of the childs need within learning, as well as in a personal capacity.
Our ideal candidate will hold:
- PGCE or QTS in Mathematics
- Experience teaching the British Curriculum
- Experience working within SEN
- Both Primary and Secondary experience
- Experienence to tutoring or strong understand of what it takes to be a tutor

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
